IWU has a holistic vision that sees spiritual formation woven into everything we do. Establishing this priority is integral to our disciple-making culture and can be seen in the residence halls, the classroom, our athletic teams, and our chapel services.

We prioritize the spiritual formation hour every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:05 a.m. During this hour, three days a week, our community pauses to worship, learn from God’s Word, connect with each other, engage in spiritual practices, and grow spiritually.

IWU is a Christ-centered community and requires traditional, on-campus students to accrue 28 spiritual formation credits each semester.
