Devotion
A steadfast commitment to God, faith, and loved ones, demonstrated through loyalty, worship and commitment to God. Devoted women in the Bible like Ruth and Hannah remained faithful despite trials, putting God and His purpose above all else.

Courage
The willingness to act in faith despite fear, danger, or uncertainty. Courageous women in the Bible such as Esther, Deborah, and Abigail took bold steps, often at great personal risk, to defend righteousness, protect others, or follow God’s call.

Feature Article
Catalyst
A person who initiates significant change, inspiring or influencing events, people, or circumstances. Women who acted as catalysts in Scripture like Naomi, the Samaritan Woman and Lydia set transformation in motion — whether through leadership, faith, wisdom, or bold action.
“Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, ‘Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?’”

Restoration
Women who encountered restoration like Dorcas and the woman who touched Jesus’ cloak in the Bible received God’s grace and mercy. At IWU, God is using many women as his instruments in bringing restoration through renewal and redemption within their reach.
“When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. ‘If you consider me a believer in the Lord,’ she said, ‘come and stay at my house.’ And she persuaded us.”
