HOMECOMING 2025 RECAP

FRIDAY The weekend began in worship with a reflective Homecoming Chapel service attended by alumni and students. The time of worship reminded the IWU family of God’s enduring faithfulness to generations of Wildcats and invited everyone to reflect on the university’s Christ-centered mission before the full weekend of festivities began.

Friday also featured a milestone event celebrating 50 years of nursing education in IWU’s School of Nursing. The gathering honored decades of Christ-centered impact in healthcare through stories, fellowship, and dessert. The celebration recognized IWU nursing graduates who have faithfully served communities through compassionate care since 1975.

The evening concluded with the annual Food Truck Festival, where alumni, students, and families enjoyed live music, conversation, and a sense of shared community.

SATURDAY

Saturday offered a full day of activities, including the IWU Homecoming Donut 5K Run/Walk, the second annual Tailgate Village, and a moving Alumni Chorale Concert that celebrated creativity and faith. Wildcat athletics energized the weekend as women’s volleyball, men’s soccer, and football each faced competitive opponents, drawing enthusiastic crowds of fans.

As the weekend came to a close and alumni began their journeys home, the spirit of Homecoming 2025 remained. Each shared story, new memory, and rekindled friendship added to the legacy of the IWU family. The celebration stood as both a testimony to God’s faithfulness and a reminder that Wildcats are always welcome home.
