We will help you identify your top strengths and teach you how to network and pursue a vocation that fits your unique calling and purpose.

WHY CHOOSE THE EXPLORATORY PROGRAM The Exploratory Program equips students with the information necessary to make an informed decision on their major. While some students arrive at college dead-set on what major they want to pursue, many are either unsure or only vaguely aware of what their major entails. As a result, 80% of students across the country change their major at least once–oftentimes more. 98% of students who opt into the Exploratory Program declare a major within the first year and 94% stick with that major until graduation. This saves time, credits, and money, helping students discover a life-giving and fulfilling major that suits their specific skills and gifts.
LIFE CALLING RESOURCES Life Calling and Career seeks to develop the IWU community by providing formative experiences and individual transformation. Students will discover their unique, God-given design and identify and integrate their life purpose in professional, skillful work.
During their time at IWU, students are given the opportunity to participate in Life Calling & Career resources. These resources include Life Calling Workshops, Life Coaching Appointments, Exploratory Program, Career Coaching, Student Employment Training (S.E.T.), and Employer Relations opportunities.
