Spiritual Formation
IWU is a Christ-centered academic community, and we truly seek to embody that in all we do. Here, you will not only grow in knowledge, but also in faith.
At the core of the IWU experience is the opportunity you will have to grow spiritually and engage in a Christian community. Indiana Wesleyan offers engaging worship in Chapel, meaningful connection in small groups, and supportive faculty who will take the time to talk to you and pray with you.
We prioritize Spiritual Formation every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:05 a.m. During this hour, our community pauses to worship, learn from God’s Word, connect with each other, engage in spiritual practices, and grow spiritually.
We believe God loves every student and desires to speak into their lives, no matter where they are on their spiritual journey.

GATHER IWU is a Christ-centered academic community, and we truly seek to embody that in all we do. Here, you will not only grow in your knowledge, but also in your faith.
The expansive and classic Chapel-Auditorium is the center of spiritual life on campus, hosting chapel services two times a week.
GROW
Join one of many faith-focused organizations on campus, including Delight, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Koinonia. You also can get involved in devotions or small groups! More than one hundred small groups meet on campus every Wednesday at 10am with varying types of purpose and topics.
SERVE
We believe that spiritual transformation involves not only an inward experience of God’s grace in our lives, but also an outward expression of love and compassion for others. John Wesley taught that every Christian has the obligation to serve the poor, destitute, sick, and imprisoned. We accept that responsibility enthusiastically.

“I decided to attend IWU because of the unapologetically Christian feel that you get while you are on campus. A Christian education and a place that I could grow my relationship with Christ himself was very important in my college search, and that’s exactly what I found when I came to look at IWU!”
